Rubelli at Milan Design Week 2025

In the showroom in Via Fatebenefratelli, the fabrics from Peter Marino's new collection “Rococo” interact with a brutalist-inspired installation designed by Studio P7, "Un-scaffolded."

Rubelli fabrics bring life to installations and special setups throughout the city and at the Salone del Mobile in Milan at Villa Héritage by Pierre-Yves Rochon.

On the occasion of Design Week 2025, Rubelli presents Peter Marino's third capsule collection “Rococo”. The new collection becomes an integral part of the "brutalist" installation created by Studio P7 in the Rubelli flagship store in Via Fatebenefratelli for Design Week.
The metal tube structure built inside the Milanese showroom is to be interpreted as an act of irony, in response to the external scaffolding on the building's facade. The external scaffolding, so bare and anonymous, conceals a much more articulated and vibrant one.
Design Week sees Rubelli present in the city and at the Salone del Mobile with installations and displays of various kinds, thanks to its rich catalogue that ranges from technical and minimalist fabrics to traditional and decorative ones, with a variety of offerings that lend themselves to the creation of the most diverse interior design projects.

In Rho, in the spaces of the Salone del Mobile, "Villa Héritage": a special project signed by Pierre-Yves Rochon for which Rubelli supplied Seltz velvet and Déjeuner sur l'Herbe print to upholster sofas and armchairs in a decidedly decorative and romantic style.

In the city, a series of exhibitions and proposals of contemporary taste.

First stop, “L’Appartamento” by Artemest at Palazzo Donizetti: an installation that saw the contribution of major international studios. Here, to lightly dress the Grand Salon, Dining Room, Entertainment Room and Lounge Room, are the curtains made with the fabrics Bebop, Paul, Shadow and Shanghai.

Furthermore, as a partner of Tecno together with Slalom Acoustics, Rubelli has interpreted an aesthetically minimalist and clean project: “Where Art Meets Design”. The fabrics used for the acoustic panels that soundproof the space in Piazza XXV Aprile are the new wools from the Teorema collection: the Barnaby tweed and the Marple chevron. To enliven and furnish the space also a series of moodboards that suggest a series of interior decoration proposals.

Rubelli also contributed to the installation of the retrospective “Handle with Care” on Carlo Nason - Venetian designer who linked his name to various glass companies - set up in the Fragile Gallery, an international reference point for home decoration and collecting. All the fabrics that frame the more than 150 original lamps on display belong to the latest collection.

Finally, this year at Rubelli there is also space for books. The flagship store in fact hosts two protagonists of art and design: photographer and writer Julian Lennon and American architect and designer Roger Thomas who during Design Week present their most recent publications, respectively "Life's Fragile Moments'" on Monday 7th and "Resort Style: Spaces of Celebration" on Friday 11th.

For Rubelli, therefore, a Design Week that attests not only to the company's great flexibility in responding to the most diverse needs in stylistic terms (making it an ideal partner for both residential and luxury contract) but also confirms its attention to the world of culture, of which it has always been a promoter.
In design and writing, creativity has no boundaries.
