12 Rubelli tapestries for Bvlgari: 12 authentic textile artworks

Rubelli reaffirms its position as Bvlgari's textile partner for the extraordinary launch in Taormina of "Polychroma," the Maison's new High Jewelry collection.
As with "Mediterranea" – presented by Bvlgari in 2023 at Palazzo Soranzo Van Axel in Venice – Rubelli also supplied various fabrics for "Polychroma", both from its collection and special designs.
Bvlgari's precious creations were temporarily exhibited in the prestigious San Domenico Palace (a hotel "rich" in Rubelli fabrics). Here, providing the backdrop for the event were tapestries specially created by Rubelli. These are textile reproductions of works by two very different contemporary artists: Alessandro Florio, a Sicilian painter whose subjects are animals of a fairytale design, and Zach Lieberman, an American designer and visual artist who makes highly original and poetic use of technology for his interactive creations.
While colour dominates the works of both artists – just as it does in the "Polychroma" collection – the tapestries developed by Rubelli masterfully reproduce the chromatic vibration and kaleidoscopic dimension of the two artists' productions.

Once again, as it has many times throughout its history, Rubelli has engaged with the world of art. Today, it does so using cutting-edge techniques in an unprecedented mix of art, craftsmanship, and textile technology.
