A plain chenille fabric that is soft and velvety like moss (hence the name Moss). The velvety effect is due to the use of chenille (which is shinier because in viscose), while the cotton streaks (which are more opaque) "move" the surface. Chenille and cotton, despite having the same base colour, acquire different tonal shades, as they react differently to the dyeing process. Moss is an informal chenille, ideal for contemporary furnishings. It is suitable for heavy use.
