A new edition of the original velvet designed by the artist Alfredo Carnelutti and woven by Rubelli for the Art Biennale in 1934. In pure art deco style it features irregular horizontal shapes created by the viscose pile, which stretch out over a ground enriched by small golden diamond shapes. Suitable for light use.

Martino Gamper was born in Merano, North Italy in 1971. After completing an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker, he went on to study at the Academy of Applied Arts & Fine Arts in Vienna and the Royal College of Art in London, graduating with a masters in 2000.
