"A vertical stripe created using the traditional Indian tie-dye technique. The name is a tribute to the English writer and Nobel laureate Rudyard Kipling, who was born in British India and dedicated much of his work to the country. Tie-dye is an ancient dyeing technique that allows for the creation of unique patterns on fabric. It is achieved by tying knots in the yarn before dyeing it, so that the parts inside the knots do not take the colour. Made with a thick cotton yarn, Kipling is a celebration of imperfection: its measured, hand-crafted irregularity serves only to ennoble the final product. Suitable for upholstery."
