The Dedalo sofa takes its name from the Italian art and design criticism magazine of the same name published from 1920 to 1933. The idea was to reinterpret traditional sofa shapes in contemporary form. While the curved base on which the cushions rest and the particular joint between the base and the armrests are strongly contemporary, the soft, opulent cushions of the seat and back, like the large proportions, hark back to more traditional forms. The end result is a timeless, elegant and refined sofa for installing in contemporary spaces.
