Corte Nova is an uncompromising three-seater sofa and among the most contemporary in the collection. The rigid metal base is softened by a decorative leather trim which frames the seat and the small optional shelf compartments which can be placed as preferred on one or both sides of the sofa. Designed by Luca Scacchetti, it can be covered in the vast range of Rubelli fabrics.
Luca Scacchetti, Milan 1952-2015. In 1975 he graduated in architecture from Milan Politecnico.
He carried out teaching work at various institutions, from Milan Politecnico to the Istituto Europeo di Design and the Accademia di Brera in Milan. From 1990 to 1995 he was director of the department of architecture at the Istituto Europeo di Design.
