Named after the Iranian city known for the production of rugs, this lampas reintroduces the typical rug motif. A thick weft creates overlapping raised sections which interact with the precious golden effects of the ground. Shiny and silky, thanks to the smooth hand this lampas is suitable for plush drapery and light use upholstery.
Martino Gamper was born in Merano, North Italy in 1971. After completing an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker, he went on to study at the Academy of Applied Arts & Fine Arts in Vienna and the Royal College of Art in London, graduating with a masters in 2000.
