Rubelli Patronage

Rubelli has always promoted projects for adding value to the artistic and cultural heritage in Italy and other countries. Sponsorships and partnerships include projects for the restoration of textile decorations in prestigious spaces - La Fenice Theatre, Palazzo Reale, Querini Stampalia Museum, Fondazione Giorgio Cini and Caffé Florian in Venice; La Scala Theatre and its museum and Palazzo Reale in Milan; the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow and the Albertina museum in Vienna, just to cite a few.

For many of the above-mentioned projects Rubelli carried out an in-depth study of the period textile decorations and colour schemes in order to design and produce fabrics ad hoc for the sumptuous interiors. Rubelli’s patronage takes shape through contributions and donations, including support for schemes organised by FAI (Italian conservation foundation), the Comité Français pour la Sauvegarde de Venise (the French committee for the safeguarding of Venice), Venetian Heritage, the Museo del Costume in Florence, the Armoury in Graz or, again, the restoration of a famous painting by Veronese owned by the Louvre.

Support by Rubelli for the artistic heritage also involves Guggenheim Intrapresæ of which Rubelli has been a member since 2002. Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice gathers together top-level Italian companies, united in supporting the programs and initiatives of the museum.
