Rubelli Group and its new showroom in Dubai

A corner of Venice has found a new place in Dubai: the Venetian company Rubelli, considering the increasing importance of the Middle East market, has decided to move to a new location, leaving the old showroom opened in 1994.
When little existed in this area, Dubai had been selected being clear that it would become the center of the whole region. Rubelli’s office/showroom was on Sheikh Zayed Road, facing the elegant Emirates Towers, outside the city.
For its new location Rubelli has selected Business Bay, which is due to become the heart of Dubai’s activity. The new home for Rubelli Studio is Regal Tower.
Regal Tower is not far from Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world (hosting the Armani Hotel, entirely dressed in textiles woven by Rubelli) and moreover it is overlooking Sheikh Zayed Road, the road leading towards Abu Dhabi, a strategic destination for business. Designed by Chuck Chewning, creative director of Donghia, Rubelli Studio strikes for its refined simplicity: a white composite marble floor, containing fragments of mirror, smiles at those who enter the space. White lacquered walls wrap the Studio, topped by a white and pewter leaf ceiling. Lacquered surfaces and metal ceilings are both homage to the timeless work of Angelo Donghia, the founder of the American company.

Color comes from the many textiles which are presented with the usual display created by Rubelli: large hangers that allow the designers to work with ease on unique decorations.
The décor is completed by two large sitting areas, all in Donghia furniture: a comfortable place to stimulate good design.
The Rubelli Studio contains the 4 brands of the Rubelli Group: Rubelli, Donghia, Armani Casa Exclusive Textiles by Rubelli, Dominique Kieffer by Rubelli. It also presents other worldwide top brands: our long term partners Sahco and Elitis, Charles lighting, the creative leathers by StudioArt and, finally, the large collection of trimmings Samuel & Sons.
The opening in Dubai took place on October 30th: a further step of the Venetian Company after the opening of the Donghia showroom in Paris in 2009 and the Donghia/Rubelli showroom in London in 2011.
