La Nobiltà del Fare

Rubelli and Acqua di Parma, two historic Italian luxury companies, have come together in a work in which the company famous for fragrances and accessories has described with the power of images the top in Italian arts and crafts excellence.

A project which has produced La Nobiltà del Fare or “The Nobility of Work”, a publication of great effect and large in size, containing 23 stories of prestigious Italian enterprises, including Rubelli.

The pictures by the famous photographer Giovanni Gastel lead us, among others, into the symbolic places of the multi-centennial Venice company – its Como mill and the Venice showroom on the Canal Grande with its elegant San Marco silk damask, the iconic Rubelli fabric.

La Nobiltà del Fare is also a sensory experience: the book cover is made with a silk and linen jacquard created especially by Rubelli and the inside pages conceal a piece of the Lenora precious silk damask for the reader to feel.

Rubelli as a company, like those of the other centres of excellence presented, thus endorses a cultural value and “that craft savoir-faire inherent in art”.
