Elle Décor Italia for Molteni&C in partnership with Rubelli

On the occasion of the London Design Festival four well-known British textile designers were called by the British magazine Port to create a special edition of the D.270.2 armchair designed by Gio’ Ponti in the Seventies. Custhom, Esme Winter, Ffion Griffith and Marwood covered the exclusive item by Ponti with fabrics which take inspiration from the British taste and tradition.
The same concept will be reinterpreted in Milan in 2015 by involving Tommaso Caldera, Sara Ferrari, Nina Warglien, Olimpia Zagnoli, four young Italian designers chosen by Elle Décor Italia and Giulio Ridolfo and endowed with a strong sensitivity for the textile design.

In order to affirm and guarantee the real Italian identity of the project, the four fabrics will be developed and created by two Italian brands, Rubelli and Dedar, who are closely involved in all the phases of the project.
