A geometric grid is drawn on silk satin ground with different weaving patterns and weft yarns. The contrasting wefts, such as linen and lurex, distinguish the lines from each other creating an alternating interlacing grid. Presented in tone-on-tone colours, as well as more contrasted ones, to give a more extravagant look. Made in Italy
Martino Gamper was born in Merano, North Italy in 1971. After completing an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker, he went on to study at the Academy of Applied Arts & Fine Arts in Vienna and the Royal College of Art in London, graduating with a masters in 2000.
