A highly contemporary graphic design played out on the two colours and referencing the transparency of lace. The pattern is taken from a drawing from the early eighteenth century which the Rubelli design studio has reworked superimposing other designs. Suitable for upholstery.
Martino Gamper was born in Merano, North Italy in 1971. After completing an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker, he went on to study at the Academy of Applied Arts & Fine Arts in Vienna and the Royal College of Art in London, graduating with a masters in 2000.
