This striking fabric draws inspiration from the natural pattern found on seashells. The pattern is replicated on the surface of the fabric with subtle colour contrasts, creating shine and a three dimensional vertical cannette.
Martino Gamper was born in Merano, North Italy in 1971. After completing an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker, he went on to study at the Academy of Applied Arts & Fine Arts in Vienna and the Royal College of Art in London, graduating with a masters in 2000.
