The starting point was a prototype of a multicolour weave produced by hand in the Rubelli design studio. The creative process can be compared with the exploration in textiles by Anni Albers, the great Bauhaus artist. Suitable for upholstery.

Martino Gamper
Martino Gamper was born in Merano, North Italy in 1971. After completing an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker, he went on to study at the Academy of Applied Arts & Fine Arts in Vienna and the Royal College of Art in London, graduating with a masters in 2000.
