Made in vinyl on a nonwoven base, Barene Wall displays an embossed textile texture which copies the natural effect of woven straw. An unusual feature of Barene Wall is the overprinting with white paint which highlights the vertical lines and heightens the colour tones, increasing their depth.

Martino Gamper was born in Merano, North Italy in 1971. After completing an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker, he went on to study at the Academy of Applied Arts & Fine Arts in Vienna and the Royal College of Art in London, graduating with a masters in 2000.
